Kevin DiOssi - LEAD PHOTOGRAPHER
After nearly 10 years as a professional photographer, Kevin DiOssi has seen several trends come and go in the "digital era." One thing that he grew very tired of was seeing some of the trends in wedding photography - which included over filtered images and overcharging young couples. While the aesthetic look of images will forever be subjective to one's taste, price point is always something that will matter.
After being asked by many friends to cover weddings and turning it down, Kevin found that many of them ended up being unhappy with the images they received or the service and turnaround time. Additionally, hearing what they were charged and that some wedding photographers literally left a ceremony after a certain time was something he couldn't accept. This influenced his decision to get involved with wedding photography.
As a joint effort with his friend and talented photographer, Dennis Akers, the goal of Lovestruck Photo FL is to deliver extremely high-quality images and service at a fair price.
Kevin is an established photographer in the automotive industry with over 60 national magazine covers before turning 29. While fairly young for the field, he began his professional career at early age of 19-years-old, working as an associate editor and photographer for several automotive publications. In his time spent there on staff, he was able to work directly with automotive manufacturers like Ford, Ford Racing, Dodge, Mopar, General Motors, Roush, and Steeda to name a few. This work included photographing monthly events, races, products, models, and vehicles - providing him with an eclectic portfolio in a relatively short 5 years before moving onto freelance.
Age hasn't stopped him from becoming an entirely self-employed photographer and creating Visceral Image, the parent studio to Lovestruck Photo FL. He also accomplished a major personal goal when he became one of the photographers for the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning working with the Lightning Foundation. From live events, concerts, landscapes, and pretty much anything involving photography, Kevin is truly passionate about his craft.
When he's not behind the lens you'll probably find him on the ice. Growing up in a northeastern-influenced household meant that the TV was permanently glued to hockey games, in spite of growing up in Florida. Kevin and his older brother, Steven, started playing hockey at the ages of four and five, respectively. He still plays to this day and claims it's something that will probably never leave him. But watch out! Kevin is always more than happy to talk you to death about hockey until you walk away. You've been warned...
